How do I add a race that’s missing?
Open the Race Library, tap the request icon in the top bar, fill in the race name, location, and a short note about why this race matters to you, then tap Send. RaceVert submits the request directly to the feedback queue.
Why is my treadmill clipping the steepest grades?
Most treadmills cap at 12–15% incline. Real ultras can hit 20–30%+. RaceVert offers three adaptation modes when grades exceed your machine’s range:
- Clip— caps at the machine’s limit.
- Effort-compensated — clipped, but the app gives you a target RPE and slower speed cue so the effort still matches the original grade.
- Preserve shape — keeps the climb-descent rhythm recognizable while staying within range.
How do I add my own treadmill?
Tap the Treadmills tab → Add. Set the min/max grade, min/max speed, grade step (usually 0.5%), and the lag your treadmill takes to change incline. The workout adapts to whatever profile you select.
Will the app keep my screen on during a workout?
Yes. While the player is open, RaceVert disables the auto-lock so the current segment stays on screen. Closing the player restores the normal auto-lock behavior.
Where is my data?
Training data stays on your device. Feedback and race requests are sent only when you submit the form. See the privacy policy for details.
