RaceVert Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

RaceVert is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information.

What we collect

RaceVert has no account system, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs. Training data stays on your device. When you choose to submit feedback or request a race, RaceVert sends the text you entered, an optional reply email if you provide one, app version, build number, device model, and iOS version to the RaceVert feedback endpoint.

What stays on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device using iOS’s UserDefaults system, and is never sent anywhere:

Deleting the app removes this data. Resetting iOS user data also clears it.

Feedback and race requests

Feedback and race requests are sent only after you tap Send. Requests are stored in the RaceVert feedback queue, which may be backed by a Google Form, Google Sheet, webhook, or similar low-volume support tool. We use this information to fix bugs, improve the app, and decide which races to add.

Feedback is not sold and is not used for marketing. If you include a reply email, it is used only to respond to your request.

Maps

The race map is provided by Apple Maps (MapKit). Apple’s privacy terms govern map data delivery. RaceVert does not request your location.

Children

RaceVert is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be reflected in an app update release note.
